Dead tree stump transformed into 6-feet pencil in Maharashtra school

An artistic touch was given to a school in Wai, Maharashtra after a dead ‘silver oak’ tree stump was transformed into a six-foot-tall pencil instead of uprooting it. Though educational institutions in the Wai town of Satara are closed in the wake of the rising Covid-19 cases, people living in the vicinity are now visiting the Dravid High School just to see the new piece of art located at its entrance.
